My name is Joe Santagata and my passion is goaltending. For me, being a hockey goalie is the best position that you can be, in the greatest sport that you can play. All my life, I have been trying to perfect the art of keeping a puck out, of a net. First, as a player. Now, as a coach. My love for coaching and my obsession for stopping hockey pucks, has led me to create, GataGoalie.

GataGoalie was created to coach, mentor, educate, and develop goalies, in all the aspects, of being a goaltender. Goaltending is now a 24-hour, 7-day-a-week commitment. It’s a lifestyle. It’s a whole lot more than what we do, when we are at the rink. In my opinion, there is not a more demanding position in all of sports. GataGoalie provides goaltenders with a variety of resources and services necessary to develop goaltenders physically, mentally, and emotionally, so that they can grow, excel, and develop, into the best goalie that they can be.
