SantaGataGoalie is Coming to Town!

Here at GataGoalie, we believe strongly in three things: helping others, growing the sport of hockey, and giving back to the community. 

SantaGataGoalie was created to achieve just that.

The name "SantaGataGoalie" comes from combining the names of Coach Joe Santagata and GataGoalie. This is intended to be our annual, holiday tradition! 

Our Mission at SantaGataGoalie, is to grow the sport of hockey, by providing children, who are interested in the sport, but less fortunate, the opportunity and resources needed to experience hockey. We believe that, regardless of background, that every child should get the chance to play hockey, should they want to. Our goal is to make that possible.

This Holiday Season, we have set an initial goal of $5,000 to raise to help fund the cause. The funds are intended to provide the resources to help children experience the sport of hockey. What those resources are will determined by the situation of each child. The funds could be used to on anything from purchasing equipment, providing available ice time, experiencing a hockey game, or anything needed to help them get involved in the greatest sport on earth. 

In order to raise funds, we will be doing multiple fundraisers this holiday season. Included in this campaign will be selling our custom "SantaGataGoalie" T-Shirts and Santa Sacks, and our "25 Days of Christmas" Raffle. Additionally, we are asking this holiday season for any hockey equipment, that you no longer need or use. The equipment will be used to help get more kids on the ice. We all know hockey is an expensive sport and this will be yet another way for us to work towards our goal of helping children play hockey and grow our hockey community. We are accepting ALL hockey equipment, regardless of if its skater or goalie equipment, size of the equipment, or condition of the equipment. All equipment will be inspected and sanitized before distributing.
